First time booking a vacation rental in Niagara-on-the-Lake?  Need a few tips and tricks.  Do you like to travel with your dog and looking for a pet friendly vacation home?  Looking for a vacation rental close to the beach and waterfront in Niagara-on-the-Lake.   Follow us on our "how to series".  We have many vacation homes that are specific to your needs, including pet friendly vacation homes, close to the Shaw Festival, homes that sleep 10, and so much more.  

How To Book a Vacation Rental...

Let's get some information to you to make your booking experience as easy and as accommodating as possible.

First and foremost, how many beds do you need!  What are your needs?  Are you travelling with a large group, a couple, need a King Size bed?  This is a good place to start. you can start your search by saying 3 bedroom (sleeps 6) or sleeps 6 vacation rental in Niagara-on-the-Lake..many different results come up from Homeaway, vrbo, Trip Advisor and Niagara Holiday can be a bit overwhelming to say the least.  All can help you find your property but with different rates...if you book directly through Niagara Holiday Rentals you will find all the houses we offer and may find it easier to deal with us, but you do have other options out there for you! 

Once on our site (or of course others) what are you looking for? Peruse under Our Properties and look whats important to you. Location?  Like to be near the Shaw Festival?  Many of our homes are within walking distance.  Want a large Kitchen?  Fireplace?  Each house is described to explain whats offered, how many bedrooms, want to be close to the main street and boutique shops? How long the walk is to the main street, right down to the parking spots offered.   Any time your feeling overwhelmed, have a specific question on a house or just want more information Janet is always available via email or phone so do not hesitate to call or email with your enquirers.

How to pack for a vacation rental.

Booking a vacation home for the first time can be a bit overwhelming if your used to hotels only. But do not fear, we are here to help!    We will go over a few things to make your packing much easier!

What's included??

Kitchen gadgets, utensils, plates, pots and pans, wine glasses, coffee makers, kettles, starting up coffee, tea, salt, pepper, pam spray, tin foil, dishsoap, laundry detergent, fabric softener, garbage bags, sponges, paper towels, sugar, ice cube trays..As well as linens, towels, shampoo/body wash, hand soap, starting up toliet paper, face cloths and kleenex...

So now you know whats included, what do we suggest to bring before coming into town if you can! Condiments, olive oil, extra coffee if you are a coffee drinker, milk, small bag of flour and any spices you require for your cooking!  No worries if you cannot pack, there is a Value Mart grocery store on Queen Street for you to shop and pick these items up.
