Niagara-on-the-Lake Celebrating Canada’s 150th birthday and named Number 1 Best Value City by Trivago


Trivago has named Niagara-on-the-Lake as the number 1 spot for 2017 Best Value City!


Niagara-on-the-Lake is a 19th-century gateway to Canada’s wine country and the nearby Niagara Falls.


So come one and come all and enjoy Canada’s 150th Birthday in our beautiful town!


As Canadian’s we do not need passports. To enjoy our beautiful country. So let’s plan a trip to Niagara-on-the-Lake!


There is so much to see and do in Niagara-on-the-Lake for Canada’s 150th Birthday! From peach and strawberry festival, beer festivals, wine tours. There’s The Shaw Theater, Tall Ships in July, Snowbirds are performing at our Niagara Airport and so many other activities!


An all-Canadian lineup will be rocking The Commons at Butler’s Barracks on July 2, 2017, to celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday. With City and Colour, Blue Rodeo, The Strumbellas, Stars and Dear Rouge set to perform at the national historic site.


Tickets and VIP packages for all-ages event went on sale December 16, 2016 at General admission tickets are $69.50 plus service fees. A limited number of VIP tickets will be available. VIP tickets start at $99.50 plus service fees. VIP tickets include access to a VIP area with optimal main stage viewing, VIP bar with premium beverages, shaded area, premium food vendors, VIP washrooms, and fast-pass VIP entry. All tickets will be available at all Ticketmaster outlets, or by phone at 1-855-985-5000.

If Niagara Fall’s is on your list to see this year! That’s great as Niagara-on-the-Lake is less than a 15 minute drive. You can go and spend the day in Niagara Falls. Than enjoy your scenic drive along the Niagara Parkway back to Niagara-on-the-Lake. Where you can admire the beautiful homes, landscaping and views of the Niagara River. Make sure to stop at one of the many fruit stands. Where you can pick up fresh fruit and vegetables along with some homemade preserved.
