Well its two years in a row that Ice Caves have formed on Lake Erie. But here in NOTL we have frozen waves! Amazing how the ice continues to shift making frozen scupltures that you can easily enjoy just a short walk from Queen St in Niagara-on-the-Lake. A famous land mark is the gazebo in Queens Royal Park, also the launching off point for swims across Lake Ontario ... although at much warmer times!
Eric has seen people climbing over the frozen shore line of the Niagara River to get better vantage points for bird watching, fishing and just the adventure of walking on water! This year we anticipate the shore line to be frozen well into mid March!!
