VQA Niagara-on-the-Lake, 12.5% alcohol

SWIRL  – What do we see?

Clear, medium intensity, gold colour.

SNIFF – What do we smell?

Clean, medium plus intensity of honey, cereal, pineapple, honeysuckle, toast, marmalade and ripe melon.

SIP – What do we taste?

Dry, medium plus acidity, medium alcohol, medium plus body and intensity with flavours of cereal, toast, pineapple and ripe melon and a long finish.

SO……

We conclude that this wine is suitable for drinking now with potential for aging (due to the level of fruit), and it is oak ages on lees (cereal and toast flavours). We enjoyed this with grilled chicken and capresse salad.
