Gate Street Cottage has been lovingly restored and features all the modern conveniences mixed with original hardwood floors, a claw foot tub, picket fence and a covered porch.
Gate Street Cottage has a large living room with flat screen TV to enjoy movies with enough room for the whole group! Perfect for a rainy day.
A separate dining room with seating for 6 and beautiful kitchen with granite countertops:
- Drip-coffee maker and kettle with enough coffee, tea, and sugar to get you started
- Flat top stove, oven, fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster, and dishwasher
- Dishes, pots and pans, silverware and glasses (including wine glasses)
- Non-stick spray, paper towels, dish soap, tea towels, dish cloths
- Salt and pepper
The main floor laundry is located next to the kitchen supplied with:
- Laundry soap, stain remover and dryer sheets
Bedding, towels, hair dryer, facial and toilet tissue, shampoo, and hand soap are also provided.
The main floor bedroom has a king bed with lots of drawer and closet space and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Upstairs, there is a king bedroom with a seating area and ensuite with both walk-in shower and claw foot tub. Also upstairs, the queen bedroom with ensuite features a large walk-in shower with rainfall shower head.
Outside, relax on the generous front porch and watch the people and occasional horse and carriage pass by. Sit on the back deck while dinner cooks on the BBQ/grill. Lounge in the sunshine of the back garden or take in the cool shade of the pine tree.
Set amongst lush gardens, this more than 100-year-old cottage is just steps from the many offerings that Canada's most picturesque town has to offer. Take a short stroll to the many world-class restaurants, Shaw Festival Theatres, and quaint boutiques that line downtown Queen Street.
Visit the Niagara wineries, breweries and distilleries scattered throughout the area.

From the moment we entered it was easy to feel at home. Tastefully upgraded and decorated with a very comfortable feel. Just steps from Niagara On The Lake's main street but quiet and private. Great option for those with some mobility issues with a main floor bedroom with ensuite. Very responsive to all questions and messages. Thank you for a great staycation!

We had a marvelous time. Loved walking through the town and around the lake. The people in the town are all so warm and friendly. The carriage ride was relaxing and full of local charm, we simply enjoyed every moment. Great long weekend trip!

This rental is nice and clean in excellent working condition and well equipped. Even better, however, is the location. It was our first visit to NOTL and it certainly won’t be our last.

This property is clean, well kept and very comfortable. It fit all of our needs. We appreciated being able to walk into town for food, sightseeing and shopping. A most enjoyable stay.
