We are so excited to be re-opening Captain's Quarters!

The minimum age of the primary guest who responsible for the house because they booked it is at least 25 years of age.

HOUSE DESCRIPTION:
While the furniture may have changed and the interior paint colour, the best bits are all the same. The spacious covered front veranda with lots of seating can be enjoyed anytime of the year! The hardwood floors are gleaming and the grand gas fireplace is ideal for you to cozy around. The kitchen is still that mix of old and new, which lends to the charm but has all the modern conveniences of a renovated kitchen.

Entering into Captain's Quarters, is like stepping back into the Arts and Crafts era of architecture, the original wood trim, arched entry to the dining room and the large windows all beautifully restored. You can look right through into the manicured garden that has outdoor seating and a gas grill (BBQ).

This bungalow offers all accomodation available on one floor. As you enter into Captains, the main common area has the living area, fireplace and television. Off to the right is the dining area and kitchen . One bedroom with a queen bed is off the dining room. To the left of the common area is a hall way to the other two bedrooms and the common bathroom. The front bedroom is a queen bed with additional storage space. The common bathroom is between the two bedrooms and has a tub shower combinatin. The 3rd bedroom is to the back with a queen bed and ensuite with a walk in shower.

If you are couples traveling together, or for a quick get away with your best friends or a family wanting to reunite, Captain's Quarters offers the best in vacation rental homes that the Niagara Region has to offer!

The laundry facilities are off the kitchen and has access to the back yard. Captain's Quarters offers all the best features of any Niagara vacation rental. Cottage rentals in Niagara on the Lake are really popular, but without a doubt, Captains Quarters will once again be in high demand!

Location

Just like in real estate, a vacation rental is all about location, location, location. And what better Niagara vacation rental can be had, than one right here in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Close to Starbucks, the Niagara on the Lake Golf Course, all 3 Shaw Festival Theatres and some of the best restaurants and shops! Park your car and not worry about driving until you are packing up to leave!

Captain's Quarters is in the historic old town, just steps from Queen Street with all the shops, grocery stores, restaurants, waterfront, walking trails and bike paths!

If you are a history buff you can walk about 10 minutes to Fort George, or just around the corner is Fort Mississauga Historic National Site. Our town is rich in the history of how our country was formed. All over town are historic markers. One of my favourite things is the cemetery ghost tour which is every Fall. A local theatre group dons the persona of the famous and infamous characters that have lived or influenced our town. Its an entertaining learning opportunity for all ages!

Also within walking distance are the Niagara Jet Boats, which hands down, is one of the most fun and adventurous things I have ever done, twice!

While in town there are lots of bakeries, and boutique food shops for you to enjoy at your cottage rental. But if you are a foodie, there are so many restaurants that you can enjoy within walking distance, Treadwells, Oban Inn, Cannery, Pellar Estates, Back House, and one of my favourites and its a bit of a walk but worth it, Ginger's!

If you are looking to kick back and relax with a view, at the end of the street is the Niagara-on-the-Lake Golf Club House, where you can watch the sunsets over Niagara-on-the-Lake.
